The 1924-P Double Eagle Saint-Gaudens is a $20 gold coin minted at the Philadelphia Mint. It features the iconic Saint-Gaudens design, created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful U.S. coin designs. Composed of 90% gold and 10% copper, it weighs 33.44 grams.
Graded NGC MS-63, this coin is in Mint State and classified as "Choice Uncirculated". It retains strong luster and sharp details, with some minor imperfections, such as light contact marks or scratches, from handling, but these do not detract significantly from its overall appearance.
The 1924-P is one of the final issues of the Saint-Gaudens design before gold coins were withdrawn from circulation in 1933. It is a relatively common date in the series but is highly desirable for collectors due to its striking design, historical significance, and solid NGC MS-63 condition.
